Off Topic - 1957 Chevrolet 210 - Paint Correction and Gloss Enhancement

I was gifted HD Adapt to review & here are my results on a 1957 Chevy 210.
NOTE: This is an unbiased review. I was told do a review but be 100% honest.

So I'm gonna keep this one simple and let the pics speak for themselves.

I was not sure when I booked this car if it was two stage or single stage.
Sadly, the car looked like it had been washed 100 times with a Brillo pad.
I figured HD Adapt is the perfect candidate. It works with both paint types.

    Simply put, I used a Rupes 21 with a 5" BP and a Carpro 5" Flash Pad.
I expected some "work" to clean it up but to my surprise it went quick.
All I can say about Adapt is WOW! It made short work out of correction.
No dusting! and a long work time. It's like working with a buttery cream.

The finish was almost LSP ready. I followed HD Adapt with Carpro Reflect.
I used a Rupes 21 with a 5" BP and Lake Country Hydro-Tech Red foam.
For small areas I used a PC DA with a 3" Backing plate...same products.
Reflect gave it that extra clarity, sharpness and bright jeweled sparkle.

    Epilogue:
IMHO Adapt has less cut than M101 but Adapt finishes down a little nicer.
The best part is ZERO dusting. Adapt is very clean and a joy to work with.

I give HD Adapt a thumbs up!

    Hood Before

    Hood After

And along came a new brother (with 5 miles on the ODO)

    The End

    Thanks for looking.

Thank you...this one was a pure pleasure. I was amazed at the "wet look" difference.

Yes, lots of new products have been introduced in the market in the last few of years.
Megs microfiber discs, M101 and Carpro Reflect sure beats my old M105/M205 combo.
Carpro Flash pads, Lake Country Hydro-Tech pads, Rupes 21ES Bigfoot to name a few.
I'm able to obtain "show car" results cleaner, faster, easier & better than ever before.
Who knows...after practicing all these years I might be getting a little better at it too.

...it does make a pretty looking driveway (BTW original inline 6 with 3 on the column)

Thank you for you kind words...and thank you for stopping by...It was real nice meeting you.

When it arrived I was not sure how it would turn out. IMHO It came out "Show Car" quality.

I was very happy with the final results. Speaking of "Wet"...What did you think of Wet Glaze 2.0?

It's supposed to rain mid-day. Wet Glaze 2.0 has minor filling properties.

It looks great on darker colors and it has a wonderful gloss and slick feel.
