    Header and exhaust system

I am interested in upgrading my exhaust system. The magnaflow mid pipe and cat back are appealing to me, but I have no clue on headers. Any suggestions? I saw some OBX headers on ebay. Anyone have any experience on these? Are the magnaflows ok? Thanks for your input. I want to get everything on this truck ready for an eventual rebuild and sc upgrade.

If you're building towards future growth do it right the first time. You'll spend more on the front but save in the end. American Racing Headers (ARH), JLP Comp R (made by Bassani) and Canon are the premier exhausts for our platform but will cost you. I have no expereince with OBX but from what I've read its a decent set up to get your foot in the door but it rots away so its a good idea to have them coated before install.

I believe that some have found that the OBX headers are based off of the DynaTech design but with crappy hardware fittings.
They normally purchase the connector fittings and bolts separately to prevent exhaust leaks.
You can do a search for OBX and see what others have suggested to make the package work.

Thanks for the advice!! I am leaning toward the JLP kit. They should take me as far as I will ever need for what I plan on doing overall.

Cannon's a nice setup. My beast was used as the prototype. Have had it forever and no issues.
Had to add sound matting to get the bride to ride in the truck.
