    Laugh New guy here in san diego with an 03!

    Hello everyone I bought my 03 Harley truck about 4 months ago. I have since installed a jlp CAI, a bassani extreme exhaust (full system including long tube headers), and a 6lb lower pulley. I am hoping to meet some people with these amazing trucks in my area. Maybe get some input or advice on other mods. Anyone from around San Diego?

    Welcome to the brotherhood, very clean truck. The Lightning/HD crowd isn't quite as strong in SoCal as it used to be but there is a group of us working hard to revitalize it. We try to coordinate get-togethers periodically, attend JBA Speed Shop's monthly Coffee & Cars events, meet up at the Race Legal events as well as other SoCal meets and car shows. I've become somewhat familiar with Ls/HDs over the last 10 years and enjoy turning wrenches. Keep tabs on the regional section, I also recommend joining Lightning Rodder and following the HD and SoCal regional sections since there's more activity there than on NHTOC and most NHTOC members are also members on LR. I look forward to meeting you.

    Nice truck. Is your jlp cai the ram air one? if so how did you run the hose up to the grill? The next 2 most common mods are a valve body and a tuner. It looks like the upper pully has been changed as well. Welcome to the board.

    Thanks for the welcome guys! Awesome I will check those out. Thanks for the tip throttle jockey! I look forward to meeting you as well. Fordman my CAI is actually run through the fender into the wheel well with a debris/water seperator. Yes I forgot to mention I went to a smaller sc pulley. I'm looking into hand held tuners currently just unsure which one to get. I'm leaning toward the sct. Any thoughts? Truck does currently have a base tune on it for current mods. But I need a more in depth tune.

    Did you update the MAF and get a tune with that pulley? If not BOOM is waiting for you.

    I tuned mine with SCT. It's a good product that I've used on all of my cars. If you decide on Diablo, I have a used Predator I'n selling for cheap.

    Welcome ! Looks like you are in need of some shackles to get the rear down where it needs to be . Nice truck. Love the color.

    #8022 L&S oil separator, color matched tailgate handle and license plate bulb covers . Fog light mod ,Venom mod , JLP CAI and JLP rear shackles for a 3" drop out back. More to come.......SOLD ...........no more to come.
