Carrier bearing gone bad- Need Help

    Hey guys,
I just noticed my carrier bear went bad. I would like to know what you guys are doing to get this part since it is discontinued. I have read a lot of post but most are old.
Where to buy this part or part number would help greatly.

Also is this something I have to fix right away or can I get by babying it for a couple of weeks.

    Thanks

If worse comes to worst you can buy a used carrier bearing from a junkyard SCrew.

I ran mine for a while before I got the time to change it out. I got the replacement from Ft Wayne driveline.
Look them up on line. Very quick shipping.
    Aloha and be safe

Thanks for the reply, I ordered the complete bearing.
How hard is it to change and do I pull it off with a bearing puller?

Thinking, I wonder will this company develop a one piece driveshaft for super crews?

Not sure what you're asking with that broken english, but the non-hd editions had one piece drive shafts.

The non-HD Super Crews had a different transmission, 4R7OW I believe. A while ago, some stated the Lincoln Blackwood has a single piece drive shaft and it will work with the HD trucks. Tracking down a Blackwood, no luck.
