Hi all! Has anyone ever determined how many Black, versus Black and Silver HD trucks were built in 2003?
was asked in 2003 and then at least in 2010. answers were pretty much the same- total numbers and guess at breakdown.
search option is your friend

I thought it was about 2/3 black and 1/3 silver and black.
I believe the silver/black two-tone combo was an option.
But I'm not 100% sure
I think you are correct Merlin. IIRC I have seen a window sticker that listed the sliver/black 2 tone paint as an option.
It also talks about it in this link too. http://www.ford-trucks.com/specs/200...150-supercrew/
so how many 2003's were built in total ? anyone know?
One big issue I had to deal with when I first purchased mine was which color did I want.
I had alwayssss wanted the silver and black one but at the time couldn't find one with a decent amount of miles on it and I also had no idea about this website at that time, so I had found a black one with about 50k on it and was such in a hurry to get one after waiting for so long that I ended up doing the deal with a dealer in Washington while I was living in California.
Click on the links from threads #2 & #4 above re how many were actually produced and see below (thread #4) from the original unveiling article:
