Keep your eye on the classifieds for parts, sometimes what you want/need comes available at a great price. Otherwise go directly to the source for the L&S separator.

I have a Greg Evans FTVB in my Lightning... LOVE IT! Always have, always will. Greg Evan FTVBs were desirable but other FTVB were not so well liked, I'm not really sure why though. For the last several years the go-to valve bodies for the L/HD have been either from Blower Slut (Chris, A-1 transmission) or Punisher (Paul). Blower Slut recently quit selling his VB so I recommend the Punisher VB. I have a Punisher Street version in my HD.

I look forward to meeting you soon.

Here's a link to the L&S Oil Sep. Tell 'em NHTOC sent ya'.
IIRC there is a NHTOC member that works with/for them)

Next Item, IIRC factory tech has not made valve bodies for a long time.
There are/were two folks recently that make 'em A1 Transmissions and Punisher.
I believe that A1 may have stopped making them now (too busy)? That leaves Punisher.

IIRC The A1 manufacturer stated many times that his and the Punisher VB were much better than Factory Tech.
I believe he was pretty vocal about the quality of their two valve bodies in comparison to the quality of the FTVB.

These two Valve Bodies come in two basic types. Street and Racing. I choose street for a driver.
Here's a link to A1 Transmission Here's a link to Punisher Valve Body I hope this helps.

    Lightbulb Thank you everyone

As I stated I'm new and don't really know anything about performance parts for my 02 HD.... So all input will be appreciated! I do want to start with a oil separator and shift kit.

Hey Jason, I work in Santee (when I'm in town) but live in Chula Vista. It's been in a while but there's Coffee & Cars at JBA every second Sunday of the month. Due to the weather, I didn't go today. Hopefully I'll see you there next month.

There's a few other local guys on this site too. You'll probably hear from them soon. We should plan a get together soon since there's been several new members like yourself which have recently joined over the past few months.

    What do you think guys?
