Looking good. Still think you need to paint that tailgate handle. I would have left the blue tape.

Later plan to color match them. This works for now. The chalky look was getting on my nerves and it's been that way since I bought it.

Every time I wash it I find a little more wax in a crevice I hadn't seen the previous time and remove it while I'm at it. One of these days I'll get in there and clean the key holes out too.

I like PERL (Plastic, Engine, Rubber, Leather) it a great "dressing". It looks great, it's easy/on & easy/off but no longevity.
I have used it for my tires, engine bay and anytime I want to be quick and lazy and have it looks good for a little while.
For long lasting durability and longevity DLux is my goto product. I put DLux on my tires with a small air brush & it lasts.

Shine Supply Trim Coat (Black) contains a black dye and "puts the black back" then it's sealed in with DLux for longevity.

Is this greasy at all? The cowl on my wife's Flex looks horrible and it's only 2.5 years old. Completely faded.

Nope. Dry to the touch within about 15 mins (cures in 24 hours). My Focus is going to be next. The cowl is almost white!

Awesome. I'll have to order some. I was wanting to try the new stuff from Meguiar's for the same thing, but previous products of theirs have been a little greasy.

What is the difference between the trim coat and the trim shine. I was looking at the website and the coat says it lasts about 90-120 days, but there is no mention of longevity for the trim shine. Any ideas on longevity for the trim shine?

I did want to say that you did a really great job!

The trim and bumper are black again!

DLux is not the easiest product to work with (depending on your process)
I find it fairly easy...but I've used it a few times & I know how it behaves.
...but from the pics it looks like you did an outstanding job!!! Congrats!

Sorry I have not ever used Trim Shine. I have found (depending on the application) that DLux can have a matte finish if you prefer.

Thanks Merlin. Sorry for the delay. Just got back home from a job site and had zero time to do anything besides work.

Welcome Benny Believe you and someone else were in need of turning your trim black again and I just happened to have these products on order.

Hopefully the before after pics were good enough. It's much different in person. It's literally night and day difference and highly recommended for faded trim. Thanks again Merlin!
