    New Member Greenville, NC 2003 two-tone F150 HD

    I have wanted one of these trucks for a long time. I finally got the opportunity to get one and I am restoring it. It is unmolested and had moss growing on it when I got it with four flat tires, no battery and was towed to where I got it. It had been sitting for three years. I put a new battery in it and it started right up. WOW! I have changed fluids and now I drive it occasionally while I am getting the things I want added to it. Unmolested under the hood and interior and exterior has to have hood and grill repainted. I replaced the right bed side got it painted now can not seem to get my hands on a stripe for that to complete the exterior. I will be putting new pulleys, headers, dual exhaust, cold air intake and reprogramming the computer. May get some help once I decide exactly what I am going to do on the exterior. I would love to drop the rear to make it level....any ideas appreciated on all the mods I am wanting to do.

    Welcome to the site Andy! Post some pics of your Shamu!

    You're lucky that you live near Shawn (SLOWBRA) too and we all of the same trucks. Good luck with the grill, they're really hard to find and almost sell immediately when they do come up. I know you stated "repaint" above but I think you meant replace or perhaps re-chromed.

    Regarding the stripe, you may be able to pick up an entire set of aftermarket decals on eBay. Haven't checked in a while but since they're so hard to find originals, a few of us have picked up a set of these as backup in case we ever in need.

    There's a lot of good info on this site and a lot of "how to's" too. Regarding the rest of what you want to accomplish, I suggest you read, read and read some more and use the search tool. Go to the appropriate section and search for what you're looking for.

    Good luck with sale of wife and kids ! Mine have been on Craigslist for over 5 years and not one call ! Jk. Lol

    #8022 L&S oil separator, color matched tailgate handle and license plate bulb covers . Fog light mod ,Venom mod , JLP CAI and JLP rear shackles for a 3" drop out back. More to come.......SOLD ...........no more to come.
