Are you talking about the harness or the actual fog light melted? Or did they melt together?

Just the socket that holds the bulbs melted

Well I can't help with the plugs, but if the light socket is bad then I might try this thread. Now I need a passenger bracket so I have NOT purchased those lights. But from what I can tell there is a harness adapter that you remove and these lights plug right in. From what I have gathered on multiple threads.
Hopefully someone who has done this can pipe in and lend a hand.

I believe that a dorman 645-214 will connect to that bulb, they are avalible at Advance Auto, Autozone and other parts stores i'm sure. You can go on the Dorman site put that part number in and see if that is what you are looking for. Actually Amazon has them in stock with a picture $24.56 prime shipping to your door!!!!!!!!!!

I need the actual socket that holds the h1 bulb that locks into the fog light itself

I've read on other threads that the 05 through 07 Ford escape fog lights fit our trucks. Has anybody put these in and use them and do I need to modify the original bracket or bolts up accordingly .

No Mods needed. Unbolt OEM, bolt in new housing.

If you do this, you will supersede the H1 bulbs and the goofy long plug adapters. H10 Lights will plug right into the factory cable, and your lighting options just grew tremendously. Plus your new housings will look brand new!!
