    Cleaning intercooler - questions

First time cleaning the intercooler. I expected a lot of oil and there is. Found some flakes on top of the intercooler. Coating from rotors or what? Reason for concern? Oil separators on order.

It's the teflon coating off the rotors, which always flakes off like that, nothing to worry about. I would recommend stripping the rest of the teflon off the rotors, I used aircraft stripper. If you search, I'm sure you will find plenty of info or probably a how-to on how to do that.
