Was thinking about the "old" family and stopped by to say hello today too!
Lots of new screen names and a few projects still going on I see.
glad you posted up. some new screen names, still some "old" ones. Not as much posting going on, but board is still hanging on.
Stay well in Paradise
Well look what the wifie got me for my birthday!
2012 Raptor, Flame Blue, w/35k miles.

looks rad!
With all those mods I'm curious, is it fast at all? I've test driven a couple and other than some minor illusion of acceleration from all the body lean, I came away underwhelmed. Don't get me wrong, I'd still want one if I lived somewhere that I needed 4wd more often.
2002 DSG HD #09617 NHTOC Truck of the month November 2012
Ported eaton/plenum/tb, 6lb lower, SCT BA-2600 MAF, OBX longtubes, JLP intake, FTVB, L-spec bilsteins, Hotchkis TVS, 22" replicas. Tuned by Ray McClelland of FTK
Nice!
Yes officer... I am aware of how fast I was going!
From the front view that Raptor looks mean.
Whipple 2.9 is in, but looks like mid June before I can get it installed and on the dyno
Thanks all. I know some guys sold off their HD's and migrated over to these when they first came out and I didn't get what all the fuss was about.
Fast....compared to a GTR it is not, but it certainly does better than I expected for a 7" wider, much heavier, 4x4 truck! The low down torque is still there but I think my previous HD would take it even with the 4.10 gears in this.
The PO hasn't been using it much the last year or so and the battery was weak so I replaced it with a new battery and had the dealer check it out for piece of mind. They put they stock tune back in it and I only have the 89 tune in it now. I haven't tested it in our our 1/8 mile track yet!
I absolutely love the exhaust, and the sound makes you think you are going fast so most people just give you the stare and get out of your way!
It is much more steady to tow and launch with than my aging 2000 F150 4x4.
I can't even feel my 7000+ lb loaded up Sea Ray 270 Sundeck behind it.
Plus the wife loves sitting up high and being able to look out over the top of most vehicles!

Good stuff! Stepping up to the plate with that 2.9 Whipple buddy!
Waiting to hear the results of your and Matt's built show down!
Once installed I'll have to wait for Matt to do the tranny on his Shamu and I'll need to work the back end traction bars, etc.
I don't expect he's going to go down easy.
Sure thing Mike. Anytime buddy!
The weather is here, wish you were beautiful!
Xfire. Here to say hi to the fellow oldies members. I was around back then. Still have my 2000 HD. Right around 59,625 miles on her. Good looking Raptor you got there. Merlin you still polishing up trucks on the side? Haven't been on here lately, but do look every now and then.
