    induction kit info

    Hi guys

    im assuming that to get a better charger noise an induction kit is best.

    whats the best kit and where to go. id think that heatshield is a must

    if you want noise, the biggest difference will be porting the eaton supercharger and filling the 'silencer' holes, and putting a larger pulley for the supercharger belt on the crank. I have a +6psi crank pulley, and a ported eaton on my truck and it screams like crazy. By comparison, the JLP ram air intake doesn't add much noise at all.

    But to answer your question, the JLP ram air intake is the best for these trucks, it's good for a pretty consistent +2psi gain so a lot of extra power and a bit of extra noise.

    do you have a link to a pulley off hand. ? does it need mapping after or fit and forget ??
