    Belt slip....options

    hi guys

Been speaking to an ex HD owner over here in the uk

after telling him whats been done to my truck he said ill be getting belt slip ,after checking around the snout it has black dust so it looks like hes right

My truck has what looks like a stock lower pulley measures approx. 7 3/4 across the outer edge
The upper is 2 3/4 in size

am i better just going for the deuce idlers or go for the aux one that's higher up.. theres approx. 50 pound difference to get them to the uk

In my opinion, the Magnum Powers Idler bridge is the best option. It still looks factory unlike the other add-on idlers setup. And one thing it does that other don't, is keep the extra tension on the side of the belt that is leading onto the supercharger pulley. The others place the tension on the exit side of the pulley, which doesn't make much sense to me. Only downside, is it's not the cheapest option. But the best. Search the classifieds (or better yet, the buy-sell page on facebook, that's where most the activity is nowadays) they sell used all the time.

I just searched though, none for sale at this time.

Or you could buy new: http://magnumpowers.com/product/magn...acket-upgrade/
You would also need either 1 new pulley to go with your existing 2; or 3 new pulleys.
