Hi guys . I had my blower off 3 weeks ago. cleaned the IC and blower put in new plugs .
Since then when I 1st fire it up the revs drop super low for a second before picking up a bit
but until its warm it doesnt idle at a good speed .
Ive checked pipes and cant see any air leaks and all pipes are on and connected.. Any ideas

Clean the throttle body opening around the butterfly area and clean the idle air by pass valve real well, use choke and carburetor cleaner or throttle body cleaner, (If it still acts up after that replace the idle air bypass valve only use OEM ford part if possible.

Unplug the tube going to IAC, hold you hand over the inlet to the IAC and see if it still idles.
Sounds like you have a large vacuum leak to me. It revs high because of the leak then the computer is trying to slow the idle by closing the IAC as much as it can. The rough idle is because the air is getting sucked in the intake after the MAF and it’s not being metered. How about the tube on the bottom of the turkey pan? They are prone to failing.
Have a boost/vac gauge on the truck?
