I'm just a bit off of highway 601 south heading toward the state line. I drive up hwy 74 into Charlotte about 4 days a week and go right through Indian Trail. I'm sure we will bump into each other at some point. I got a Carolina Panthers antenna ball from Jack in the Box and a Retrax bed cover that should help distinquish my truck from other 2-tones in the area.

Justin, I am in Oakboro--a small town between Albemarle and Charlotte. I'm about 30 minutes from Monroe. I am in your neck of the woods quite often, as my best friend has a body shop in Indian Trail (Collision Specialties--right behind Brothers Automotive on 74). Look forward to meeting you.
Chad, as for the date, I need to call the Rock and find out when they will be open. I will post available dates so that everyone can see.
The Rock does not have its December schedule out yet, but they do have the following dates for Oct and Nov:
Friday Oct 31 6:00 Test and Tune night
Sunday Nov 2 11:00am Race and test and tune
Friday Nov 14 6:00 Test and tune night
Friday Nov 21 6:00 Test and tune night
Ok fellas, I'm workin on something that you might be interested in. I'll fill you in when I have more details. Harley#4056, in order for this to work we are probably going to need some of our Lightning brothers to take part, so go to all the boards and look for interests in a meet.
My truck should be ready the begining of November. I keep finding other things I want to do to it while its down. It's going to be like getting a new truck all over agian. I've forgotten what it's like to drive the damn thing. It's already been over 5 weeks since it happened.
I'll let you guys know what I have in the works tomorrow.
Well guys, I know I keep pushing Fayetteville to be the meet city, but I really feel that the FMSP is a great fit for us. I say this only because, being my home track, I have witnessed how they go out of their way to accommodate car and truck clubs. I spoke to the owner of the track today about us having a meet there and what it would involve. He said that the best thing to do would be to have it on a Sunday afternoon test-&-tune. That way he would cover all the overhead, as far as, labor, insurance etc. He said that they would block off an entire section at the top of the stageing area for us, that would allow at least 50 trucks to park. Plenty of room. He would have someone take pictures, that are emailed out to the owners, and will be posted on their web site. He would also have the wild man behind the mic announce us to the spectators. Price of admission is $8 and the price to register to race is $8. I know we need to wait until at least the last Sunday in November. Let me know. I can give him a call, so he can pencil us in.
