Carolina Rider, your truck left the paint dept last thursday afternoon, so i cant help you.

PowerStrokeHD, your truck hasnt been built yet in the body shop i might be able to help you out.

The good news is if it is out of paint, it may be heading out the door! Tell me something since your at the factory, heard the seats on the HD are real firm.

Are they any different except for the logo?

Thanks for the info, looking forward to getting American owned and American made! You guys with the Union need to stamp every vehicle out of your plants that way!!

about the seats, the paint dept is seperate from the main plant and the trucks get shipped over through a overhead tunnel and i'm very rarely over on that side.

How long from paint department to out the door?

I think it takes about 26 hours total, but i'm not for sure about that.

As far as the seats go there alot more plush than the ones I had in my Lariat LE, more like the King Ranch so you definately won't be riding on a brick.

Also a big thanks to TuTone, for keeping us all up to date on our babies!

I know with a Navigator I had in 98, was suprised after driving the vehicle on a trip how bad the seats were. When someone commented on the F250 seats, I immediately panicked that I had ordered a truck with brick seats again.

I agree with you totally Carolina, I too have been down the Navigator path, the same year as you. I can tell you this though i've never complained about my super duty like I did my Nav... I hope your as happy with your new baby as I know I will be...
