    Sticky gas pedal?

So my gas pedal has been sticking for awhile. Thought it was a dirty throttle body, but after a cleaning, that didn't help.

What else could be causing it?

    Thanks in advance!

make sure your floor mat is not getting pushed up towards the pedal......I have had buddies who were at the track when their pedal stuck on them, it turned out to be the floor mat

Try flipping your throttle return spring around if it seems like the throttle body isnt closing or bend the black bracket a little back so there is more tension on the return

my buddy's cobra got stuck on the plastic stuff under the floormat many times when he first got it, maybe you can try to get it to stick with the truck off and then search for places it is getting stuck?

Yes, I have an Accufab throttle body.

I've already checked to make sure it wasn't my mat getting in the way.

the 02-03 hoods doesnt come with any insulation or padding on the bottoms of the hoods since the throttle on the s/c could get caught on it at WOT, but maybe check if its catching on something in the engine bay, or if you happened to install the hood liner or your dealer did for some reason?

I had an aftermarket TB on my Lightning and pedal felt 'sticky' from idle through about 1/3 pedal. I was given a writeup by a tech at Accufab and it was a procedure for checking certain settings, both mechanical and electrical. I never fixed the problem (never did the procedure, I should say)...

If I can find the post on f150online or the attachment in the old email I'll forward it along.

I guess my point is that it could be electrical as well as mechanical.

Sorry Guys. I just found the hard copy and it was from BilletFlow. It may still pertain. I spoke to Doug there, and explained the symptoms I was having with my JDM SVO TB and he sent me the writeup and suggested trying it out. If you'd like I can take some pics of what they sent me and post a link to them. I'd type it out but it's more than two full pages of instructions.

Here's some info if you'd like to contact them:

**EDIT** I have pics of the instructions. If you want them emailed to you, shoot me an email and I'll send them..
