I have a 02 HD with a single bore throttle body and the ram air kit ithat i put on to take to the track and ran a 14.06 and everything else is stock but if i put the lightning stock pulley will anything happen to it

It would be better for you change out the lower pulley rather than the upper because of the PITA it is to get off. The lower is much easier to swap. The Lightning stock upper is said to give you a real gain of 2 psi. So 20 hps.

Depends on what size lower you go with. I increased 2# over stock using the stock program and it was OK. If you go to 4, 6 or 8# over stock you should have a chip or programmer to adjust your tune. I put mine on the dyno when I went to +6# over stock with a Diablo chip and custom tune. If you increase your boost too much without changing the tune, you can run too lean and then you could end up in the exclusive blown motor club.

That's what I did, put the L upper on 2.93" and then put 4# lower on with new tune on dyno.

I don't know about the Superchip programmer. I know that some programers come with 4# pulley programs already setup. I have a chip, so when I added the 6# extra boost, I put it on a dyno and had a custom program burned on my chip.
So if you add a 4# lower pulley, you will increase the boost by 2# on the HD and 4# on the Lightning. That is because the HD stock upper pulley is 3.25" and the Lightning upper pulley is 2.93". Therefore the Lightning has 2# more boost than HD when stock.
I put the Lightning upper pulley on=2# over stock. Then I added another 4# using a lower pulley. So now I am around 6# over stock on the HD.
If I had to do it again I would just add a Lightning 6# lower pulley and not mess with the upper. It can be a pain to get off and on. However, you would end up with the same result. +6# over stock boost on HD.:drink: Hope this made sense

What was your 60' on the 14.06? mph? What track did you run it at?

I have seen a few harleys with more mods run those times. You must have a "freak truck"

It does depend on the truck and the track. I know Venom ran 14.2 w/ just a filter. 60 foot time is huge with these trucks...so track prep can play a big part.
