Ok, I have the 03 harley and I was wondering if it is possible to fit just about any 12" sub in there? Also, if I took it to a custom place could i get them to build me a box that would have the sub facing upward with see through plastic covering it, and how much should they be charging me for them to make and install it. I dont want to be ripped off.
One last thing... Would they be able to do all of this without cutting and could they do it so that i could remove it as if it was never there?
On my 03 I built a platform about 4" from the bottom of the rear console and mounted a 10" sub firing down. I also ported the bottom front w/ 2" hole and trim and a 2" hole in the rear. The only thig I had to do was cut the tissue holder, sealed the inside of the lid w/ spray foam and velcroed a small peice of black vinyl to cover the hole I cut on the lid. It sounds great and I like rock and rap.
