Lightbulb How to save $200 on a new fog light

Just the other day my fog light got broken. I took the truck to the dealer and I would have to pay for it. (Damage to the Valance)

So I went to Lowes today(Josh Don't laugh) and picked up some epoxy putty.

When I got back I decided to wash the fog light real good and try and fix it. Here is what I came up with.

Take the putty and cut off how much you need. Mix it together in your hand until it becomes one color. Then take some and put it on the fog light covering the broken pieces

LOL Josh. You know me all too well;Y

When I backed over the snow bank, I ripped out the fog light and put a small vertical crack in the Valance. So with the Epoxy putty I put some on the inside of the valance and stopped the crack from spliting even more.

But yes I do enjoy going to LOWES quite a bit.

I really like the Lawn and Garden section(Girl I used to date runs the show)
Home Decor(Very helpful and BLAZIN girl works there)
Check out by tool world(Another BLAZIN girl)
Oh did I mention the blazin girl in RETURNS.

I go there way too much.

Thanks, Crockett59. I'm going to likely need this fix someday since my truck isn't driven much and will be out of warranty with less than 5K miles on it because it is three years old and never had the time for the brackets to break.

Thanks for putting it up! I'm bookmarking your fix.

ollllddddd thread. Now you just need $50 and you'll get a roush fog. Or like $15 and you can get a new bracket lol. Way back then you could only get the OEM fogs as a full assembly from ford for $200

Can anyone tell me where to order the bracket and fogs from. Both mine are broke. I went to the dealer and they said I had to order the whole assembly and wanted $200+ a piece!
