    Suspension Mods

Jon Rauch and I just completed, yesterday afternoon, a few new mods. Hotchkis front Coils, and F/R Hotchkis sway bars and new front SSBC brakes, which we swapped from my 01 Screw. We also installed new power slotted rotars and new pads on Jon's Camaro SS (sweet car!). Here are a few pics of the new additions to MYTQUIK. I didn't take pics of Jon's car, but I will.

    New Brakes

These are the FX4 (Force 10 4-Piston caliper) Front Disc Brake Kit part# A165-1. You can also see the Hotchkis Coils and front sway in this picture just look for the shiny black.

    more pics to come

I will post more pics once I can get to level ground to show off the rake. I liked my truck level as most of us do, but the rake is an awesome touch. The front Coils are amazing and the sway bars I can't tell you how much of an improvement they made. A special thanks goes out to Jon for all his hard work, he is a machine. I would highly recommend the Hotchkis products to anyone wanting better drivabilty and performance.

I'm with you.....I thought I wanted mine level, until I lowered the rear, then I realized that I wanted the front lower also.

I like it with a little rake too!

myt's truck is bad ***. we went out and romped on it a little and then had to go on a little trip. we ripped through some twisties, i was following in my ss, and he was going around some 45mph turns @70+ and there was little to no body roll from what i could tell. of course i was just trying to keep up with him

anyhow, if i keep hanging around him i might go broke trying to keep up mod wise.

thanks for letting me help myt.

lol - i know how i am when it comes to people working on my truck. it takes a lot for someone to let you come over to their house a wrench on their pride and joy. MYT opened his doors and tool box, and let me at his truck with total confidence. I think that says a lot about him and his character.

by the way, you can only come to Tucson if you bring the Hooters girls!!!!

This is a simple mod if you know how to do it and Jon knows.

With this mod the Fogs are on all the time even with the auto lights on setting and (my favorite) with the highbeams. I really don't see why I should have to strain my eyes seeing something fearing that I may blind the person coming at me they need to get a fog mod.

Hey Mytquick- Did you replace the upper A-arm bolts with adjustable so you can adjust your camber? I put the ford kit on it was $60. They charge $8 for the washers and $11 for the bolts nice racket but the aftermarket kits were $55 and not as high a quality. Also did you adjust your headlights and fog lights with the new stance you have now?
