    First time at the track with the HD

    I’m not going to be winning any competitions any time soon, but I was impressed with a stock set-up. I tried some different things (rear tire pressure, tailgate up/down, launch RPM’s) but nothing seemed to make a difference. Best results seemed to be to launch the truck at 1000 RPM. I got some tire spin but nothing too bad. Anyway, my best run of the day…

    60 FT – 2.177
    1/4 - 14.601
    MPH – 93.51

    All of my runs were in the 14.70 – 14.60 range. I surprised a lot of people at the track.

    The only other thing I can tell you about these trucks is they HATE HEAT!!!!!!! If you let it cool ALL the way down, and it stays like that through the staging lanes, you should be able to grab about a .1 or 2 more.
