Question Quick Q for ya Rob!

How many clips are on the side steps? its like 55* out right now, so i wanted to get the steps off before it goes back down in the 30's tomorrow ;c
Is it just 3 clips? there's a bolt back there that looks like it could be for the side steps, although i thought it was all plastic, but just wanted to make sure before i got to prying them off. Thanks

It's 4 tabs ( 2 on top and 2 on bottom ) and a round centering tab in the middle. The bolt you saw is for the bed, don't worry about it.

Hmmm....i saw the 3, and i saw the centering tab, but didnt' notice the 4th tab. I saw the two up top, and the one at the rearward bottom. Guess i'll have to wait until the new steps get here so i can see exactly where its at. Probably end up just cutting the tabs off the old step, my hands are so sore from trying to save the stock endcaps and ending up not being able too

one more question....does the centering tab face down? towards the ground? that would explain why i couldn't pull straight away from the truck to get the step off ;c

check your email Rob, i tried calling you this afternoon, but i sent you an email yesterday. you have my permission to shoot me if you want after you read that email LoL

    Got the e-mail...s**t happens bro.

Wait until you get the new parts, it'll be easier to see what you're working with.

Yeah, i'm still pissed i did that though ;c I definaetly won't screw anything up this time though. When i did the passenger side cap it took me like 5 minutes to put the new one on and it went on perfectly. Just my kind of luck i should be used to it by now

O yeah, i used some mothers mag and aluminum polish on the antenna shaft and it shined it up perfect, the few dull brown spots came right off. its all bling bling now keep me updated on that black chrome though if you find a place
