We just got our first one in its #163 with a last 8 of the VIN of 4EB44204. Its a sold unit in solid black. My second is a two-tone and was scheduled the same day but had a later build date and a delivery ETA of 12/1!

Congratulations to XCR440SP! It's about time!

Hey was wondering if anyone can help. Im trying to get order status on my new '04. The problem is my sales person is conveniently on vacation until 12/1 I believe it is, and the so kind sales manager at my dealer said he's real busy and would try to get back with me early next week. The VOPC automated order status line which is where I was getting my daily status reports from, on Monday instead of giving my updated status it started telling me to hold on the line for the next available analyst. So I guess im locked out of that, probably from calling every day. So if anyone is conveniently working at a dealer and may be checking there order status and might be able to help me out it would be greatly appreciated. Last update I had was scheduled build week of 12/1, would like to know if it was locked in and if theres a ETD yet.

You'll have to talk to a Ford rep, other dealers can't track your dealers orders. Go over to F150online.com and the 2004 F-150 forums, there are a couple of Ford employees doing this for F-150 buyers.

Well, hmm that just sucks plain and simple. Thanks for the quick reply though. I wonder how the employees are accessing it? My father who is a retired Ford prototyper and now working for a tier 1 supplier may still have access to this info, and may just not know where to look on the system.
