    Air Bag drop kit pics

Anyone interested in seeing some pics of a 2002 DSG on bags?? One of my friends called me tonight and told me to come over and check out one of the vehicles he is doing some work on. I showed up there and and low and behold it was a DSG.

I cannot remember the kit that they are putting on the truck (he works for a truck performance shop) but I will find out. The kit consists of bagged shocks for the front that mount in the stock location. And the rear is 4 linked with the bags. The kit looks awesome!! Very trick.

The truck currently rides on bags and looks cool when dropped all the way but who ever did it the first time did not do a very good job. There is a couple inches now between the ground and the side bars (when aired down). With the new kit it will rest on the ground.

Needless to say when I went back out and climbed in my truck it looked like I had a friggen lift ;b

I get back down there this week and start taking some pics. How it sits now (before and after) and with the new kit on. I'll also get some with the bed off with the new 4 link rear.

Sorry This took so long to get some pictures of the truck.

Let me say that this kit is a very clean install. It would be possible to install this kit without having to cut off any stock parts. Everything is a bolt on part.

I am sad to report that this particular truck was cut to pieces by some shop in California that tried to bag it the first time. The first "kit" that was installed was completely homemade and who ever did it went wild with the torch. Many stock parts were cut off the truck and pieces welded (looked like a third grader did it) on. It really made me sick to look at it.

Now for the good stuff!! Super Trucks USA in Wheatridge CO is the shop doing the install the second time and the right way. They are very speedy and do stuff right. One of my best friends is the head mechanic there. Look them up if you ever need something in CO.

    Now for the pics!

This is the C notch, shock relocation, and the bag position. The kit consists of a 4 link in the rear ( fully adjustable) and a adjustable trac bar.

Ask if you want to see anything specific or if you have any questions about the kit. I should have the finished pictures tonight or tomorrow.

This last picture is with the rear bags fully dropped and the front on short jack stands (front wasn't finished yet). The tape reads about 3 inches to the bottom of the bumper. While it may come up a little when the front is on the ground it won't be much
