    Thumbs up Stealthbox installed yesterday!

WOW! I love this sub box. I'm using a JL 300/2 bridged to power it. It hits hard, accurate and all the lows! Highly recommended. I wanted to get in on the group purchase, but I ended up getting it for $449 anyway. I was surprised to have some usable space left in the console!

I think we all agree this is the best box out there. What do you call usable space? Can you take a pic for us? Do you have to cut the console to make the box fit?
    Give us more details please...

It's only a few inches deep of space, but a lot better than nothing. To me that's worth it. I wasn't expecting to have anything left over.

Tony did you cut the innner console as the instructions say?

Mark (STLOUISHarley) & I both chose NOT to cut the innner liner. We screwed the hinge directly to the stealth box. Mark had to use some 3/8" or 3/4" (I am not sure) gasket material. Mine the lid actually closes & latches perfectly.

I love mine. I am running an Alpine MRD-F752 5-channel amp. It is "T-Class" on the sub side.. it pumps out 350 watts to the sub. 125x4 to the rear doors & to my hybrid components in the Q-logic Kicks.

I think the installers did cut the inside of the console. The console closes fine. That sounds like a kick @$$ amp that you have.

Actually it was a contest prize when I sold Alpine product in 2000. I got it before they started shipping as an '01 model... $999 retail

I took the entire rear panel out. moved the jack to the bed. Mounted the amp on custom brackets so when you open the pass side cargo door.... its right there... the XM satelite module is behind the drivers cargo door

    pics to come
