Post a picture of the cover.
Here ya go......a picture as requested.
I would think, that most of our Tonneau covers are basically the same, regardless of the manufactor of them.
Sooooo......having said that, I would think.....that our Gas Shocks, should all be basically the same as well?
When you look at various pictures of our Harley Trucks....the Tonneaus, all look the same.....don't you think?
Just wondering, what everyone is using for Gas Shocks, on their own Tonneau covers.....and if anyone has any issues or problems with theirs.
Many different tonneau manufacturers, many different shocks for them. Like mentioned before, pull one off and take it to Napa or something and have it matched up. Different manufacturers place them in different spots (mounts) so they will be different lengths.
As far as Tonneau covers there are few basic difference IMHO
I have A.R.E. and have had no issues with fit, finish or rubbing.
The one I have has a "ridge" in the center that matches the hood.
The A.R.E. cover has a lining on top that matches the Bedrug liner.
The joys of new forum owners coming in to f150online, and destroying documented information and history.....when f150online was sold or transfered or whatever happened over there where my mod album galleries were uploaded almost 15 years ago, they killed all my pics that were hosted. So that full history of every aftermarket hood, tonneau, rollpan, etc. for these trucks is now gone. Unsticking this thread too :/ Oh well I bet 3/4 of the parts were no longer made anyway lol
