Hey guys, there's a place online that has the '04 HD available already in all 3 colors, but the model they have is a supercab instead of the crew, but I went ahead and ordered one to match my black/orange anyway because it's only $29.

I ordered 3 (one of each color) a year ago knowing that I would be on the waiting list. The example I saw was a SC SWB with a V-10 and that is what I was expecting even though it wouldn't have been my choice. I find it interesting that after all this time and the Ford approval thing that the photos now depict the same truck but in what appears to be a 2 wheel drive where the Maisto early marketing at least looked like a 4x4. Did they even make a 2 wheel drive in 04? Anyway, it almost looks like Ford picked the truck they never made to be the representative of the ones they did sell. That's my opinion and I have a SC LWB with a 6.0 in all black unlike the 90% that were CC SWB trucks so I bet you guys/gals are really disappointed. My guess, there are 2 happy Harley truck owners out there and one drives a DSG/Blk and the other an Orange/Blk combo.

I would have thought they would have made the die-cast in the crew cab, I've seen other F250/350 models by the same company that were crew cabs. I would have been a whole lot happier, had the models been made a crew cab. But I guess you take what you can get.
dont get your hopes up too high when it comes to the harley diecasts. every year model has a few things wrong with it. heck i think the 01-03 models come with a gray interior. not even close to being accurate. they also have a clutch pedal, and the 01 model has a 4.6 motor in it. they all have yellow fogs for some reason. there's a number of other things i could point out as well.
at least it looks similar, and its a collectible model for the 04 harley year, so i'll be happy once i get mine in. also this is the 1st year that they are offering the model in more than one color
i emailed maisto, to check that my 1 year old pre-order is still standing, and they emailed me back and said yep, they are just waiting to get their shipment and they will ship me out one of each color

The guys at Diecast Muscle are pretty good about staying on top of their pre-orders Josh, you might email them just to make sure they didnt cancel their order.
Ive heard its a Supercab instead of a Crewcab so it would "fit the box", the same reason the 00-03 150s wernt a true 1/18. Something to do with shipping and shelf size at Walmart and Target stores.
