i sent ya a PM but for anybody else wondering...
somebody posted a few months back that Maisto was going to make the 04 HD diecasts, rather than Ertl who has made the 00-03. This is definately good IMO because their attention to detail is much better than ERTL.
Not sure on a release date yet, but i'll post up when i find out

not sure, i can check one of the boxes from one of my other maisto 1/18th scale diecasts and check if you want.
probably is though, it wouldn't suprise me. they are one of the best major brand 1/18th scale diecasts out there though IMO without getting into really expensive brands( out of the 20-40 dollar range)
Yeah, a guy I visit in Witchia KS runs a store called www.automobiliausa.com he has a store pretty much dedicated to die casts. He said that the Maisto change would be a great thing... & he hopes all of the Ford Die Casts go that way.
He said the worst is the Hot Wheels stuff..
If anyone stumbles on to one... pick it up... I will overnight payment to you. I really want one for the collection.

will do Rob. My buddy at the dealership calls me up whenever he gets a new ford collection catalog in and lets me order at dealer cost with free shipping. I will order an extra 04 HD for you if you didn't get one by the time the new catalogs are out

watch....i've been waiting for like what...a year for these to come out? and now that my checking account is down to 30 bucks, the order will go through for 70 bucks and my preorder will bounce
When I ask on the Maisto boards back in december I was told they were at Ford for final approval, since then nada, time to ask again I think!
That was quick!
They received final approval from Harley-Davidson today, at retailers in 6-8 weeks, we'll see I guess.
There are no plans for an 05 version unfortunatly.
chit,,,,better scrounge up some funds to get in my account then before my order is rejected!
