1 inch drop spring wont get you anywhere on a HD or L... Since our stock springs are already 1" drop.... go w/ a 2 inch drop spring and 3 inch shackles for a 1/3 drop.....it would have a nice set to it....

I had DJM drop springs on my chevy B4 I bagged it and I was very happy w/ them...

I think he meant a 1" drop from stock HD height. Anyway, that's exactly what I'm running right now. It is actually a 1" front drop coil and 2" rear shackle with Nitro shocks from Ground Force, specifically designed for HD and Lightning. I additionally added rear 2" hangers and only used 1" of shackles for a 3" drop in rear. I finally added Hotchkis front/rear anti-sway bars, which I took off my Lightning. I really like the ride quality and handling is very impressive compared to the Lightning with same sway bars, Hotchkis rear 2" drop leafs, and Bilsteins. I am concerned with the driveshaft vibration around 100-120 mph, although. By lowering the rear 3" without adjusting the pinion angle, this becomes a problem. The people at Ground Force have addressed this issue with a completely redesigned rear hanger that improves the pinion angle as close to stock without needing shims and has no vibration on their test HD F150. They have informed me that the final product will be available in about 3 weeks. I plan on trying it out.

Not yet, but i plan on getting 2" drop coils (1" drop up front) this summer sometime, and changing my 2" belltechs for 3" JLP's for the rear.

Did you rotate your stock shim? I actually had to take mine a step further, and add a larger shim. No bad vibes now....

Ground Force does have a web site: www.groundforce.com. They have two complete kits: #9903 which is a 1"/2" drop front and rear respectively and #9904 which is a 1"/3" drop. The #9904 is supposed to be available within a couple of weeks. The kit includes shocks, springs, and shackles. I'm waiting for the #9904 kit. If you want to speak to their tech person his name is Kevin @ 724-430-2068.
