pinstripe question!

What is the best way to take my pinstripes off.

and once i get them off will it be noticeable in the paint scheme

and if so what is the best way to deal with it

I just picked at the end and slowly peeled it off.

There was a little bit of shadow where the stripe was but a good wash and polish took care of that

I just took delivery of my '02 DSG truck and the stripes were off of the truck within 2 hours of delivery. It was not difficult at all to remove them just start at the end and peel them off slowly. Mine did break at points but you just use your nail and get it started peeling off again. After removal and remembe my truck was 2 years old at the time there was not any problems in the paint. Nothing can be noticed at all that they were even there after a good cleaning and wax job. For me the stripes and flames were not what I wanted for my ride. Now it has a cleaner look and more to my liking. I know this stuff is all just personal preference and it is like the difference between chocolate and vanilla so I say each to their own and for all the guys with flames no problem here if it makes you happy do it.
