I like the Dunlops,, But the price ($300 each) is owie owie owie!

That would take all my lunch money...

A UTQG rating of 280 AA translates to about 15k miles for me with my driving habits. That puts them in the same class as BF Goodrich Comp TAs.. Of which I had and used them as asphalt stripe erasers... Got about 10k miles and they were showing threads...

They are sweet looking tires but I would need a sweet deal to buy a set..

Okay, I'm so confused with tires. It could be that I'm still taxed about the Bassani mid pipe install from hell.

I have 24,000 miles on my Goodyears now. They are trash, the front ones are down to the wear marks and the back ones are getting close.

All I want is a tire that will grip like hell, get decent milage (20-30000) Please someone help me find a damn tire, I'm an idiot when it comes to this.

Crockett... I ahve had both the kumho's & now the hankooks

either will work great. I will say the Hankooks stick like he!!

with the Kumho's I could get a good bark with the FTVB 1-2 & occasionally 2-3

the Hankooks hit so violently at 1-2 that I ahve to close my flip screen for fear of damaging the mechanism. They do not bark they grab & the truck lunges forward.

I've been looking at the Toyos too, but my pocket book keeps telling me that it is not time for new tires yet. I like their tread pattern the best of them all.

I just put a set of Kumhos on in 295 45 20 and so far I'm very pleased over the stock Goodyears. The truck was getting pretty hairy in the rain with the Goodyears.

Rob W.,,,,,do your Hankooks do good in the rain? With the miles you drive, you could be the NHTOC tire tester. How are they wearing? The tire place got mine in today,,,,,LOOVE the tread pattern.

Before I put a new set on anything,,I melt down the old ones,,,,cant wait to see how the truck compares to the ol 5 liter

Saw 2 tires in person today. The Toyo's are sick! I like them alot (tattoostuff's truck) and the Yokohama's are sweet too! (airtroop's truck)

I have Hankooks on both trucks. They drive very well in the rain. They do spray alot and the trucks get filthy on wet roads.

They will break loose on hard acceleration but still stick 200% better than the Goodyears did. After a while of getting to know them, you can still bust up on folks in the wet. Passing peeps going down the road is no problem, even dropping 2 gears, they still stick in the wet.
