    I was told "Mirrors on the back side so the mirror can't be scratched"

    I discovered that that is not correct. The acrylic mirror will easily scratch.
    It was mentioned to use XPEL film over the acrylic mirror ...I'm not convinced.

    Still...a work in progress...found the face side of the acrylic mirror can and will scratch...
    Trying a test...coating the surface with XPEL ULTIMATE self healing paint protection film.

    Embarrassed door sill plate 2002 HD

    keep me up to date on those door sill plates. Any other suggestion on what else is available for that area of the sill, let me know.
