Replacing an altenator

While driving back into town today my altenator crapped out and damn near left me stranded in a not so nice part of town. Of course, nobdy stocks this part so it will have to be ordered. While I was waiting I was trying to figure out how I was going to swap it out when it gets here. It doesn't look like they could have put that thing in a more inaccessable area.

My question is, what is the easiest and quickest way to swap out an altenator. I did a search on here and came up with nothing. Any help is appreciated.

Are you going back with the stock 130 amp or upgrading to the higher 200 amp alternator?

It is a fairly straight forward process but very time consuming. Best to upgrade at time of change like Cayman ^^^ suggested.
