javamanguru,
Yes, I recieved the DVD for the 1996 - 2002 Ford Service Information in the mail on Saturday. I am currently working on the installation of the viewing package. It appears that it may require the installation of Microsoft Visual C++ libraries to run.
well has anyone run it yet?
Success!
I have found out that when you do the install of the "tso" browser from the DVD, you must use the default install location for the software. It appears that if you choose the option to select a different installation directory this program will not run. This DVD contains a large assortment of information regarding every car made by Ford from 1996 - 2002. Well worth the $25 donation and more!
Does this dvd show how to change spark plugs and maintain your vehicle like the Haynes Repair manuel?
HDsUpErCreWf150,
To answer your question, the DVD manual does not get into detail as to how to remove and install each and every sparkplug. It just says to remove the plug coil pack, vacuum out any debris and remove the plug. To install just do the reverse. It does have a couple of generic pictures showing were the coil packs are located, and the plugs are to be torqued to 18Nm (13 lb-ft).
Just got my DVD today and I looked at it and it was pretty much used, did anyone else notice this other then me?
Anyone know, if there is a regular CD version.
I don't have a DVD drive, I'm poor;b
LOL, i dont have one on my computer either, will it work in regular home dvd player or you just dont have as many options?
