I change mine every 3rd oil change, takes minutes, cost is a few bucks I just don't understand the purpose of this ? Why go longer in between changes ? Oh never mind why do I bother talking

Maybe I will modify the oil filter from my power stroke to fit the f150 !! Then I can go longer on my oil changes.

I believe it is recommended you change the fuel filter every 30k whether it's stock or Navi.
If you cut them both open the Navi filter has almost 3 times the filter surface over the stock filter.
The larger filter is better if you get build up due to the fact that the larger filter will have plenty of filter area space left.
The Navi fuel filter will also protect better against possible fuel pump issues and gunk causing a fuel pressure drop.

lol personally I'm with you and never bought into this mod. Yes in theory it all makes sense, just one of those things I change it often enough, the smaller filter is easier to work with in the cramped spaces.
