cut off top. took it down to about 1/2 inch from top of base.
filed sides down to about 9/16
painted yellow top of dipstick a chrome color. Really needed it. Looked funky otherwise.

im not getting what you did here? you gut part of the dipstick off? the part that lets you take it out, the little ring? point of this?

Got another package from Tim today. Mod'd the tranny dipstick to hold the oil dipstick cap. A little, cut, file and paint.
