    Hard Wire V1

How do I hard wire my V1? I performed a search but to no avail. I want to hook it up by the rear view mirror for optimum distance.

Valentine One. It's a radar detector. BTW I was looking to see if I could find directions for you to hotwire the detector on another forum I use but couldn't find it. I'll keep looking unless you found directions.

Well the directions say to use a switched wire. One that's off when the ignition is off. That could be a wire from your radio. I don't think the wire matters as long as you choose one that turns off when the power is off.
