June 2010 Shaun "Tweek03HD" Snyder #672
This month’s winner couldn’t have been a better choice for the day after Memorial Day. An active duty member of our nation’s Armed Forces in the Army, who is currently doing his part on his 3rd tour in the Middle East. He is a real ford fanatic who not only has his HD at home, but gets to drive around in his armored F350 over there. I am sure it doesn’t compare to his multitude of previous mustangs and of course in no comparison to his HD, but at least it is still a ford and it’s bulletproof!!
A self proclaimed simple person with simple interests who likes to start many of project…then let his wife finish all of them for him. (What a slacker!!! Or is this an ingenious idea we all should learn from??!!) So simple of a person in fact, when doing a certain selection he even forgot what year truck he had! Hopefully he doesn’t forget what side of the street to drive on after being gone for so long. Having joined the NHTOC on 3/15/2010, it’s a wonder how he got TOTM so soon (must have been a “hanging chad” issue with the voting or at least we all know where his next MOD money went to!!!) Alright, alright…enough of the jokes and poking fun. This month’s winner is like so many of us in many aspects, a true family man doing what he has to do to take care of his own, enjoying life to its fullest with his many past and now present toys, and living life for each and every day out there. We welcome our newest member to the honor of being selected as Truck of The Month. So with that being said, let me be the first to congratulate this month’s TOTM winner and I give you June 2010’s TOTM winner, member #672, Shaun “Tweek03HD” Snyder and his 2002 HD F150 #7863 ![]() Question # 1: What sparked your interests in the Harley trucks? I had no interest or even knew what the Harley Trucks actually were before my son was born and I saw mine sitting at the dealer when I passed it. I thought it looked pretty sweet and when I looked at it on the lot, I popped the hood and asked my buddy who in the hell would put a supercharger on a super crew truck. He told me it was factory and I called him a liar. ![]() Question # 2: Any interesting stories behind the history of vehicles you've owned leading up to the HD truck or how you got it? Well I have always had a Mustang, My First car was an 88 GT, then a 91 Notch back that started life as a 4 cylinder car, then I had a 96 Cobra, a 99 Cobra, and I have had 2 2003 Cobras. When my son was born I knew my daily driver 2003 Cobra had to leave and I was going to look at a few new trucks. When I was driving by Billingsley Ford in Lawton Oklahoma I saw the truck. I had No intention on buying the truck until I got up close to it and Noticed the Blower, I fell in love instantly I tried to Haggle a price with the dealer and they said no way, I bought it anyway. ![]() Question # 3: Give me a rough list of the mods that have been done to your truck. I know you've got a lot done, so you can just list your favorites if you'd like! Well It is Lowered 3/4 and I pulled the stripes off. I have all the gauges in the pillar, a SLP loudmouth 1 exhaust with an off road x pipe, 6LB Lower Pulley, and an excalibrator tuner. I have been away from my truck for 10 months so I have my new Cobra R hood, Dual Pass Intercooler and A few other things in the Garage waiting for me to get home. ![]() Question # 4: Tell us a little about yourself. Your other hobbies, your job, your favorite past time, whatever! Well I am A Convoy movement NCOIC in Bagram Afghanistan for 160th Sig Bde and my job at home in the Army is a Cable and Fiber optics Plans NCO. I decide the best way to get Fiber Optic Communications from point A to Point B. I am a clown, I love being silly and having fun. After 3 trips to Iraq and Afghanistan I know that Life isn't supposed to be a race, I like to be on my 2 wheel Harley and I spend as much time with my wife and son as I can. Hooters is my church and you can find me at the Oklahoma City Hooters for Bike night every Thursday night. ![]() Question # 5: You've been a member on the site for a while now, what is one of the best things you like about the site that keeps you around? By far it's the People. When you can sit and have conversations with people like 356 and others who have built some of the baddest trucks on the planet, you have all of their Ideas, plans, and prior projects at your disposal 24 hours a day. It’s amazing and it sure saves you from spending good money on useless mods! No one here treats you bad or talks down to you if you ask a question that might seem juvenile, people are always ready to help and being in Afghanistan, having a website like this is nice to sit here and look at the screen to forget where I am for a few hours. ![]() Question # 6: What is one suggestion to help make the site a better place? The only thing I don't like about the site is when people with no posts at all go straight to the classified ads and try to sell things without even saying hello. Perhaps make a post requirement before being able to put things up for sale in the classifieds, but I love the site and think it’s great how it is, none the less. ![]() Question # 7: This is where I normally ask about where you decided on your screen name and any specific reason for choosing it? Well the name Tweek came from my old First SGT at FT Sill. I was a Range NCO for basic training privates and I drank a lot of Amp and ate airhead candy a lot, he said it made me tweek out. Then one night over beers when I became a member of Legacy Vets MC, it was on the front of my vest, so it just stuck. The 03 was actually a mistake, I meant to hit 02 and by the time I realized it I just left it alone. ![]() Question # 8: Almost at the end, what is in the future for your truck?, so what's the next plan of attack for your trucks future?! When I get home in July I am moving to Ft Lewis Washington and I am going to have It painted when I get there, same color of course, and put all the stuff I have accumulated in my garage on the truck since I have been out of country. I am also actively looking for 03 seats for my next project. ![]() Question 9: Last and final question, just an open end question for if you had anything else you wanted to mention that I didn't have a question for...here's the place to go at it! Your web site link, a plug for something, etc. etc. whatever you want to throw in! I just want to thank everyone here who has helped me with information about these trucks. I want to thank Lightning Force performance for helping me when I called, I told them what I was looking for and how much I wanted to spend. They were there for me with no haggle or bull crap and I would also like to take this time to blast Andy’s Auto Sports for their garbage service and worthless customer service. You are the being of an awful business. ![]() |

Anytime! Figured I would share with everyone. I read the book, I know everyone does it. But really. Thanks again. Im uber stoked about winning. More than anything, As I am now a TOTM winner I will have the opportunity and give more input on picking future winners and I like that Idea cause there are some Monster trucks on the site.
