Rob, i dont think youll have any worries with gel overlays in the engine bay. i've had the NHTOC gel overlay on my billet radiator sill plate for a good 8 months now and its fine. heat hasnt effected it at all.


i'm VERY interested in a few custom gel pieces. i'm sure whatever company gets involved in this, if they are a reliable company and become a SV that they'll make out very very well.

i really want to get a few custom pieces done for my 85, so let us know when a company says things are a go

Well it is sweet, shame I missed out on that one. Would be nice to see if we could get that one done in Gel!!!

Another nice once would be to get just the badge done in gel that would go in the center of the steering whell.

thanks on the fan shroud thing being divided I hadnt noticed that.. makes the Gel/Overlay thing more do'able & cheaper.. 2 piece versus one.. LOL

I will keep you all posted.

First of all, the fan shroud sticker HAS to be in 2 pieces. There is a division on the shroud that each sticker fits into. Otherwise you would have to roll the sticker across the divide. They are also vinyal.

Second, there was also some gel stickers made for the lumbar support knobs too.

I fixed the fan shroud division with a razor blade in about 10 seconds when I put on my chickenears fan shroud piece to make sure it didn't pop up on me, and you couldn't tell it was there. A one piece gel would look sweet in that location. I have gotten the DG C/F piece since then and haven't transfered the chicken piece, and might wait to see what transpires here before I do. I would also be interested in some overlays.

I saw some overlays that were silver with black and orange lettering. Is this possible on this stuff or is everyone just wanting black and silver?

I likey that lumbar supprt overlay, heck if that is a gel then it is a bonus. Options for colors and all would be great like Double G said. People could match their Eng Comp and what not. Heck I am stoaked!!!!!!!
