From what Ive heard or opinions of some I guess you could not to hard. For the little it costs to get the tune why dont you just do it and have the little extra insurance or piece of mind.

    Atleast get the AFs checked.

DO NOT get into it too hard without a tune detonation is a killer.

6lber with a predator is fine what are you guys talking about

if you got the predator and you got the 6lber and you program the pulley tune then there is nothing to worry about

if you want even more assurance then add some more fuel to it but as MBO said "these trucks run really rich" well maybe the guy @ Ramseys said that but bottom line is 6LB with PULLEY TUNE is fine

Screw that , you have a 6lb lower and a predator off the shelf you're sure to detonate and be the newest member of the vented block club. I have had this happen!! I bought a predator from 2D performance and I bought from mark@lfp 6lb + it22's+ afco HE. I had all that installed and on the pulley tune my truck puled 20degrees of total timing. which was verified by my mechanic Vince@ L&S automotive with his snap on tool. I would run the truck on the stock tune and RWTD.

I think you can runn a Predator pulley tune and a 6lber without a dyno tune for a while. My numbers and those I've seen are between 14-15 degrees timing and under 11/1 A/F. This by no means is my telling you not to dyno but I ran quite well with no dyno tune and the 6lber. I pulled 372 at the wheels with the Predator base pulley tune. I always say dyno the vehicle because its cheap and worthwhile. You have hard fact while getting the most of your combo. The thing I see is everyone is so scared to drive with the pulley and stock Diablo program. This is nonsense! I've seen it done numerous times. Now if your going to hit the WOT and hold it there then you may be asking for trouble but I horsed around plenty and it was fine. If your concerned just add a bit of timing and fuel then datalog. I had my tuner leaned out to the max and 16 degrees timing and never had any detonation! I'm going to set that up for you so you can use it until you get over to Torrie's place!

I will, but after ripping first from a stand still for the first time and shredding second, I am super happy. I still plan on the candy man torrie this month.
