    2001 HD plugs

I recently put TR6s in my 03 and after reading a little more and talking to 2 tuners I think I might go Denso or Brisk.

    1. Which between the denso or brisk plugs does everyone recommend?

    2. Can the TR6s be put in the 01? My brother has my old HD and there is no sense throwing out a good set of plugs. Any recs on gapping for a NA?

    Thanks,
    Chris W.

TR6's are what most L guys use plus they are low cost. The Denso's tip are very delicate and could break.

Well detonation is what kills the Denso plugs, so if you decide on those, make sure your tune is spot on.

For a N/A truck, all you need is a set of good copper plugs.

On the topic of Plugs, how often do people change their plugs? I have 40K on my '01 and it's my daily drive. Also a friend of mine who has a S/C'd Mustang recommended I just use the Motorcraft Platinum plugs. Is that good advice seeing as my ride isn't S/C'd (yet).

    Thanks!!

the TR6s are copper so they will work fine for my bros truck.

I heard of the densos being fragile but since I already got my tune done would it be better to switch out to the densos?? or should I just stick with TR6.

I was thinking of switching bc I had some wavinness during my dyno that JL said was due to my cheap plugs. He said I may also get a lil better performance though not much with a new plug.

    thanks,
    Chris W.

Most of us use either the NGK TR-6 or BR7EF. I tried Densos and didn't see the benefit.

DID you see any benefits with the Denso's. I got a set IT 22's that I bought along with the 4/6# moto blue QC pulley setup.
