    Preview - NX kit!

    Hey...
Just thought I'd share a pic of what came in the mail the other day. NX supplied me with enough stuff to make this season interesting.

If I knew the answer to that, I'd have a lot more stuff!

There is no easy formula for getting sponsored... the biggest thing to keep in mind is they are picking you because just by using their stuff you are advertising their company and products.

Its always nice to know someone who can call and tell them there nuts not to.......

Its hard to get a companyto do a full sponsorship for you, I was lucky, I thihk I was one ofthe last to get a full one from NX. Dont be suprised if a company offers you there product as cost.

Simple steps to look at when looking for sponsorships.
Tell them about yourself and your truck
    Mods already done
Whats are you going to use there product for
Hopw is it going to benefit them
    What shows/races are you doing
What othere sponsor do you have and there contact info
If you plan on redoing your truck (Paint/body work) have a scetch or artist rendering to send them.

Its not as easy as you think, ask Phil when I helped him to get the NX there were a couple times he wanted to pull his hair out and I keept telling him not to give up, give it a couple more days and call them back.

    rule of thumb...
They will looose all your info about 1 or 2 times before you get anything, be prepared to send the same thing to the same company atleast 3 times and have plenty of patients!
Also if someone or poeple help you make sure to thenk them puplicly or they might not help next time around!

Nice Phil. Looks like major traction problems in your future. I am sure the block you had built will hold up to that kit just fine. I can wait to see it in action. Hope you can make it to Lfest this year so you can show the L boys what these big heavy trucks can do when done right!!!! Glad to hear you are back up and rollin!!!!

Yup, Craig should really be in marketing or sales...
Much thanks for guiding me along the path there brother!
Also by the way, I did thank you in a previous thread... maybe you might have missed it.... just in case.

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!THANKS CRAIG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

By the way, does that mean you're voluntering to help with some addl. ones?

I thought about the carbon fiber tank! But, I also had a paint scheme in mind and so then the carbon fiber would be less important to me then.

Craig, I would get your cool tribal design painted on your bottles! That would tie in the bed with the rest of your truck not to mention look bad @ss!

Hey Scott! Yep, back up and running again! I hope to be making a few L boys do some double takes. We'll see whether I get all the stuff working well together this season.
