    http://www.nhtoc.com/vbforum/showthr...d&pagenumber=1

    New from Styling concepts $60.

    [B] *EDIT* note on the 2nd picture on page 2, the sides of the pod have 2 very small (1/8" maybe) "V" notches to clear my clifford/DEI/Viper extended range antena. They can be repaired with black 2-part epoxy. So a new price option has been added: {thanks Lee for reminding me!}

    Option 1:
    FOR SALE $45 shipped lower 48 states I will repair the "V" notches prior to shipping

    Option 2:
    $35 as is with the "V" notches shipped

    Option #3
    Texas Heat proof custom bracket kit, everything you need $60 total shipped

    Bracket is pictured on page 2 of above thread.

    I am ordering a 4-gauge pod tomorrow... so this one will be ready to ship on tues-weds next week when my new one arrives.

    Rob,

    Didn't you custom-fab this pod to fit with your antenna?

    Exactly how much space is there between the glass and the pod?

    Any back to the pod? ... "gauge-guts" exposed through the windshield from the front?

    Ah... Lee I compltely forgot about my Clifford antena.... good catch... I will adjust the price too accomodate.. thanks

    The pod sits firmly/flush against the the windshield glass. There is about a 1/8"gap at the radius where the pod meets the head liner.

    *edit* the pic on page 2 of the finished pod install you can see the 1/8" gap@ the headliner pretty clearly.. it is not noticable unless you go looking for it. The pod is designed for a SD F-250/350. & if you really tighted up the nuts on my bracket & put some 3m tape at the top the gap would disappear as you pull the pod into the headliner a little.

    The pod does NOT have a back on it... there is an ABS strip which is how it is mounted. but it is totally inside the heavy tint strip @ the top of the windsheild & even with a flash light you can't see the backs fo the gauges.
