I like 'em too for when doing burnouts at the track! Saves lots of clean-up! I stick 'em on with earth magnets ... thanks for the "how-to" tip, Josh. Since only the '00 had 'em stock from the factory? ... I don't keep 'em on.

I forgot what the torque spec is for the bearing-cap support bolts on the girdle. After reading the instructions, I tossed 'em with the box and then forgot the torque spec! I seem to recall it is 5' lbs (60" lbs) but I don't want to rely on my feeble recall!

I wasnt sure if i wanted to add any sonic blue. dont want to overkill it too much, so was going to just do it satin black and leave the bolts shiney SS and the front edge with the T/A logo shiney.
but definately let me know how you tie the purple in!
Forgot to put these up, Josh! This is what I did.

that looks sweet!!!!!! and gives me an idea on how to incorporate a little sonic blue into it!!

still think i'm doing the rough cast surface in black, and leaving the flat edges polished, but i'll try to do the T/A lettering in sonic blue. any tips on how you painted them up? mine's been sitting in a box for the past month, i forget if the letters are engraved or laser etched or whatnot.

    post it up installed too!
