I don't really see how it will fade since it's basically out of the sun light. Heck if it does fade in a year or two, peel and stick agian.

Excellent idea in my opinion. Like you said the stock grille is plastic...so what. I wish I would have thought of it though I really dig my j-j ent lower on my 02.
Keep the ideas coming!
I am sensing some bashing on this site lately...hope this does not turn into some of the other forums I don't go to anymore!

Looks Good
I got my chromed billet lower from Tom's 4WD off Ebay.
Here is another on Ebay: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...category=33645
But...to each their own.
I'll Take my venom grille over the J&J anyday. $6.00 compared to over $200. Hummm....... That $200 dollars goes quite a bit farther than you would think in making this Brick go faster.
$200? You got ripped! We all paid $89 from Tom's on that group buy.
I did this $6 grill mod also, get complimented on it all the time, have had it on for about 2 months now and holding up and still looking great!!
JT
i will take some pics of the grill next time i wash the truck
200 i'll sell you mine with the flush mount brackets for 150 ;t i'll even install it for yaOriginally posted by Crockett59

its under 100 bucks and matches the upper grille thickness perfect.
I only really like the j-jent lowers though when they are flush mounted. the little details bug me when you can tell its an insert overtop a stock grille. if you don't feel like messing with custom brackets then i'd go the venom route. but heck, ANYTHING is better than the stock black ones why ford stopped chroming the lower grille after 00 i'll never know

How 'bout this? Grille bars match the upper grille bars EXACTLY ... because they ARE! Canabalized the two upper and two lower full-length bars from upper grille of a donor '02 ... lots of Dremel work and :drink: later and ... WAH-LAH! ... what Ford should have done in the first place!

Another one ...
I've been waiting for somebody to do that! Got any pics installed? looks awsome!
