I put a set of these on my truck and I've never been so happy with an aftermarket product in my life. The ride is 75% better.

i have seen these before. How will affect my drop?
one of the Gen 1 guys put a set on his truck a few months back. search sulastic and the thread should pop up. I forget if he said if it lifted/lowered his truck at all, but he was extremely happy with the ride improvement as well.
So would this eliminate the the "Slam Impact" I get all the time when I get a dip on the highway? Especially when passing over the bridges... I get that slam impact from the rear of the truck...
I measured before and after and there was at most a 1/16" drop.
harley8029, yes, on my truck there was a BIG differance, keep in mind I also lowered my air pressure from the recommeded 80 PSI to 65 PSI.
Wes was the one to have it installed on his '03, and reading about the subject, it clearly states that it lowers the truck in about 1/2"
You can check it all out on Wes thread
like i said, i've seen them before and am very interested, but i run a drop shackle. i don't want the rear of my truck any higher.
i'll probably pull a leaf and raise a notch on my shackle to soften up the rear end
shouldn't this be in the little truck section
I'm assuming Harley350 has a super duty HD truck
Doesn't matter what kind of truck it is, he's talking about a smother ride achieved with the sulastic shackles, which are made for inumerous applications, regardless it will lower the truck about 1/2", and if he posted in this section, there must be a reason
2008 F-350 super duty Harley Davidson
No drop, still stock, for now.
Has anyone used these shackles that tows a trailer or a fifth wheel camper. These sound great but I need to know if they will effect towing my fifth wheel trailer.
