So a few weeks ago i posed up about being frustrated with my truck. I had it sitting up for a few months while it was cold. When i went to start it up some electric issues came to light. I finally got that fixed, but the truck was running like crap. So i sat back and thought about it all and decided i was going to tear apart the whole top of the motor and find and fix all my issues, and do some upgrades. While i was taking it apart i found the rubber boot that goes onto the throttle body wasn't on all the way and was letting unmetered air in. (found my vacuum leak) and then i checked my plugs and they were nasty from the water that had gotten into the plug wells, and had sat there for months.
I know everyone here has advised against it, but i just really liked the kit RPM outlet offered, so i went ahead and crossed my fingers and hoped for the best. I was pleasantly surprised with how well things went.. Thankfully this was the only thing i desired from their site, so i guess i was a lucky one.
I also had something else done:

Its something that i always wanted to do. And figured if i was going to be sending it off to get Ported, and rebuilt i may as well go all the way.
So now the engine troubles are gone.
I still have an issue that i cant exactly pinpoint. The best way i can explain the noise is that it makes a similar noise to when you get the truck on jack stands and spin the tires by hand, the noise of the brake pads barely touching the rotors, that metallic rubbing sound.
Yes i have verified that it is not the brake pads/rotors rubbing.
I think the sound is either coming from the drive shaft hanger bearing or one of the bearings in the rear end.
I put the truck on jack stands and put it in drive, and the noise went away, so its something that happens under load... Has anyone ever experienced this???
I need to get this figured out before i can take it up to Vince at L&S and get a good tune done...
Thanks and hope yall enjoy =)
