Stock lightning tips on HD muffler?

If I get some Lightning exhuast tips/pipes will it fit my stock muffler? I like the stock sound, but want the Lightning look.

Same tips. Just go to a shop and tell them you want them moved in front of the wheels. No biggie for any half way decent shop.

You may need to re-phrase your first post as I'm having difficulty interpreting what you mean. Do you want the back end to be a different shape or do you just want to be able to spin out in it?

Okay so let me get this right...you do NOT want the Chrome harley tips but prefer the stock L tips that are just mandrel bent pipe? Changing the tips will not make any real sound diffrence. What makes them sound different is it is a shorter pipe than an HD

I think what tweek was saying is you can move your stock exhaust forward so it will be in front of the rear wheel like an L with PRETTY CHROME...instead of the dull finish of the l pipes and sound more like a L

If it were me I would have a shop thrrow on a 14" DI/DO SS magnaflow muffler..Awesome sound and not too expensive...mine installed was $125

No, I want the HD tips, but if I get the stock pipes from the muffler to the tips that are mandrel bent, will it work?

Like I said. Just take it into an exhaust shop thats worth at least half of what they charge. They will do it for you. Some new bent pipe and voila!! It might take 10 minutes. No need in buying anything from a Lightning.
