So I have been running 6LB lower with JLP ram air for about 2 months, and, I need some more power. What do you guys think about putting lightning upper with a methanol kit? So it will cool it down since we all know these hEatons produce heat at this kind of boost. Let me know on your opinion. Don't hear much people talking about meth so thought I'll ask. Thanks

That's what I do now. A lightning upper and a 6 lower with a Snow stage 1 meth kit set from 10 lbs of boost all the way through 16. Travis (datts trah) is runnin well over 460rwhp on a stock block and has been for 2 years loves his kit. When you can safely run 20 degrees of timing its good shat. Just incase though, I have 15 grand aside for a new motor and blower. Be causious but the meth is a great insurance policy.Originally Posted by 03HD>SS

Haha yup. I think I'm just going to put lightning upper and the meth. That should get me to like 420rwhp. I am currently at 388 rwhp.

Do some research and see the one that fits you best. I have a Snow stage 1 kit cause I liked the bang for the buck. AEM has a kit and there are a few others. The stage one was good for me cause all I wanted was the kit and the LED light to let me know its workin right.
go with either kit. they're both very good from my experiences with AEM and others with Snow. you should def. get a retune though to get the power out. it won't be a plug n play power mod like most guys think. you should figure in a dyno tune and the meth kit. I went with Vince at L&S AT THE TIME and they charged me A LOT MORE!! than $150....hahaha. live and learn.
I went with the big tank and mounted it in the rear but being I have a nicely defined truck, I'm going to try and find a nice aluminum tank for my meth in the rear to match my JLP reservoirs under the hood.
ANY SUGGESTIONS would be greatly appreciated !??
